Sonic Drawing Tutorial Illustration

The place I work has identified my ability to spontaneously draw Sonic and asked me to make a tutorial for visitors to use.
I over thought it a LOT. Drawing one of my favourite videogame character is one thing but making sure other people can as well, alongside making sure that the pose is cool and original... Well, I'll let you be the judge. Regardless, I did some very quick rendering to get the concept of colouring across, can you spot the shortcuts I took?
