Wreathed in Flame

'Magic flows different in many worlds but one thing remains the same, my fire, my fury, my freedom. To be wreathed in flame is to feel true liberty, to burn all other worries.'

The dragon of adventure and freedom continues his journey. I love that his story is unfolding as my life does as well. I imagine soon he'll be taking on the same monsters I have to. Finishing this piece was a particular challenge as I really lost my spark with art. I wanted to give it up entirely but his fire hadn't gone out yet, so I couldn't stop. I'm glad I didn't give up.
