Project Reghal: Nikia The Victorious - Elph Concept Art

This is the second piece for the Project Reghal series, being submitted for my 2nd Year Concept art module.
Its a close up portrait of the character/creature design of Nikia the Victorious; She makes her first appearance in the sequel to the first Elph novel, A Time of Movement. Nikia's design and personality is mostly based off the Greek goddess Nike and is the first instance of actual magic control in the world of Elph, hence the arcanic rune on her chest scale. She is one of very few, if not the only dragon to be able speak the common language without the use of telepathy and has been part of some of major events in Azaian history. Its fair to say Nikia the Victorious is a legend for a reason.
