From the Elph project, this character design concept artwork is the protagonist of the novel, The Art of Movement and in an ideal world, the player character in an open-world parkour RPG, taking elements from the likes of Spiderman, Assassin's Creed and the Witcher 3.
I wanted to show the full process of character design from concept and sketch to final illustration as well as a turnaround and expressions. As a character I know like the back of my hand, Luce was the most appropriate, especially because of his distinct silhouette. It would be awesome to have a try at 3D modelling a bust at some point but for the time being, I'm focusing on honing my 2D design skills and well as highlighting my writing skills.
