Project Reghal: Descent to Battle - Elph Key Art

This piece is the fourth and final of the Project Regahl series! The key art that takes all the elements that I've developed so far and wrapped them into one narrative piece. It has been submitted for my 2nd year Games Design course and honestly I think it's one of the best pieces I've ever done. And in the shortest amount of time. 15 Hours total over 1 and a half weeks. I'm hoping that this jump helps me progress with my next project. I really enjoyed working in this format of design a landmark and its environment, then a character to do with it and finally a piece of key art to tie it all together. In this I feature the two human characters from the Elph franchise, Emily and Stephen (whom still needs an official character portrait.) I think its good that I used humans rather than elphs because they ground the image one and kind of display the image as a sort of modern fantasy. Also, for those keen eyes out there, you may have noticed that Emily's undergone a bit of a costume change after meeting the inhabitant of the tower...
